{"id":1164,"date":"2024-12-02T05:37:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-02T05:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pangealtda.cl\/?p=1164"},"modified":"2026-07-17T22:00:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-18T02:00:12","slug":"participacion-de-pangea-geotecnia-en-el-panamgeo-chile-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pangeageotecnia.com\/en\/2024\/12\/02\/participacion-de-pangea-geotecnia-en-el-panamgeo-chile-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Pangea Geotecnia at PANAMGEO Chile 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<style>\n.postid-1164 .post-thumbnail {\n    display: none !important;\n}\n<\/style>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">We were pleased to participate in PANAMGEO Chile 2024, held in La Serena from 12 to 16 November 2024.\n\nAs one of the leading events in geotechnical engineering, the conference provided an excellent opportunity to present our research, connect with industry professionals, and exchange technological and academic advances related to geotechnical engineering and construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Collaboration and knowledge sharing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the event, we welcomed professionals and students interested in exploring new developments in geotechnical engineering.\n\nAt our stand, we demonstrated how we integrate high-resolution pressuremeter testing, finite element modelling (FEM), and artificial intelligence (AI) into our geotechnical workflow. Visitors also had the opportunity to interact with our application, developed to illustrate our analysis methodology in a simple and accessible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Presenting our research<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the conference, we presented our research, which combines established geotechnical methodologies with advanced technologies, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ensayos de presi\u00f3metro de alta resoluci\u00f3n:<\/strong> High-resolution pressuremeter testing for detailed ground characterization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Finite element modelling (FEM) to analyse and simulate geotechnical behaviour with greater accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate data interpretation and improve the efficiency of the analysis process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DAARWIN: Advancing geotechnical design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uno de los grandes protagonistas de nuestra participaci\u00f3n fue el software <strong>DAARWIN<\/strong>One of the highlights of our participation was DAARWIN, an advanced software platform that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improves the accuracy of ground characterization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimizes the design of complex geotechnical projects, including retaining walls, foundations, piles, and tunnels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increases efficiency throughout every stage of a project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Innovation and commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our team remains committed to advancing innovation in geotechnical engineering. We believe that combining established engineering practices with modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and finite element modelling is essential for addressing the challenges of today's
