Our latest progress on the Huertos Project, located in San Pedro de la Paz as part of a major development for EBCO, once again demonstrates our ability to adapt to our client's specific requirements.
On this project, we are constructing an anchored Berlin-type retaining wall, a key geotechnical solution that provides ground stability and enables the safe construction of the building.
Project stages
The client requested that the work be divided into two sections, beginning with Section 2 to facilitate the initial blinding concrete works and early stages of building construction. After successfully completing that phase, we moved on to Section 1, where approximately 50% of the work had been completed at the time this video was recorded.
We have now completed the final borehole and are preparing for the installation of the waler beam, a stage that requires a high level of technical precision. This will be followed by the acceptance testing of the ground anchors, allowing us to continue with the second level of lagging boards and complete this stage of the retaining system.
