At Pangea Geotecnia, we are progressing with the construction of the Futuro Carrera building, where we are installing a Berlin-type retaining wall. In this video, our team is carrying out the second stage of the construction process, installing the steel piles and timber lagging while preparing and installing the ground anchors. These anchors include a protective sheath designed to isolate the free length of the tendon, preventing contact with the cement grout and ensuring the anchor performs as intended.
This retaining system is essential for maintaining excavation stability and is a key component of our work on this project.
